Boom: 4th Saxon National Exhibition

The 4. Saxon State Exhibition “Boom. 500 Years of Industrial Culture in Saxony” takes place from the 11th July to 31st December 2020 in various cities in southwestern Saxony. In addition to the central exhibition in the Audi-Bau Zwickau, six other locations offer so-called location exhibitions. In this national exhibition, visitors embark on an exciting journey through time.

The central exhibition takes place in the Audi-Bau Zwickau and looks back at the beginnings and high phases of Saxony’s industrial development and takes a look at the future of today’s free state.

Parallel to the central exhibition, industry-specific exhibitions will take place in six authentic locations of industrial history: AutoBoom. in the August Horch Museum Zwickau, MaschinenBoom. at the Chemnitz Industrial Museum, EisenbahnBoom. in the scene of the Chemnitz-Hilbersdorf railway, KohleBoom. in the mining museum Oelsnitz/Erzgebirge, TextilBoom. in the cloth factory Gebr. Peacock Crimmite Show and Silver Boom. in the research and teaching mine | Silberbergwerk Freiberg.
