The Chemnitz Theatre

Messe Chemnitz / Chemnitz Arena
Where typewriters, bicycles and cars were once made, the ultra-modern Messe Chemnitz now stands – a unique venue for trade fairs, conferences and a wide variety of other events. With capacities of around 13,000 standing and 7,000 seated, visitors can experience rock concerts, supercross and indoor football tournaments, ice skating shows and ARD boxing events.More Information

Chemnitz Puppet Theatre
The Chemnitz Puppet Theatre moved to the Chemnitz Theatre at the start of the 2011/2012 season. It now performs on the Kleine Bühne or “Little Stage”, with around a 100-seat capacity.
It is the oldest community puppet theatre in the former East Germany, having celebrated its 60th anniversary in December 2011.
